Vinyasa Flow - Characterized by stringing postures together so that you moved from one to another seamlessly while uniting body with breath. Commonly known as “flow” yoga, offering a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike.
Ashtanga - traditional ashtanga yoga follows the same sequence and series of poses in a precise organized designed order. This style tends to be very physically demanding with the purpose of purification of the body and mind. Very disciplined yoga practice.
Kundalini - Known in Hindu lore as “the energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine” like a coiled serpent snake until it is activated and channelled upward through the chakras in the process of spiritual perfection. This intense kundalini practice is believed to be power associated with the Divine feminine. Incorporating mantras and breathing exercises with physical poses. This combination of different aspects of yoga is called “Kriya” which means “action”.
Restorative - is the practice of gentle asanas, held for longer than in conventional classes, often with a support of props, ropes and blankets to relax the body. Main focus is slowing down and listening to the subtle cues while opening your body through passive stretching using props rather than muscles to support the body. Great for all fitness levels, ages and abilities.
